I am trying to create a new email account in SolidCP Control Panel for an existing domain which is 'e-mail enabled ' (for example abc.com)   .

1) I go to Mail>> Accounts and click on '+Create Mail Account' in order to create  a new email account

2. In  'E-mail Address' just to the right of the '@' sign there should be a dropdown list of all possible domain names bur 'abc.com' is NOT listed there as even a possible selection

WHY is 'abc.com' not listed as a possible selection

Hello,

Can you confirm if the domain is listed in the accepted domains for the mail server?

Regards,

Trevor

By 'accepted domains for the mail server' I presume you are asking is the domain setup in MailEnable, is 'enabled' and is it working correctly. The answer is yes, yes, and yes (can show you screen shots).

And I don't think SolidCP reads its email information from MailEnable because when I could not add any new email accounts in SolidCP I just added them directly in MailEnable, and SolidCP does not list the new email accounts in the active emails list. So it must be using its own database for information

Hello,

I am asking about the accepted domain under the mail in SolidCP.

SolidCP does not read the information from MailEnable for email accounts as when a email is created we store some information in the SolidCP database.

Trevor

So again I presume by 'accepted domains' you are referring to the domains listed in SoldCP under  Hosting Space Menu >> mail >> Domains

And the answer is yes, the domain name is listed there
