You have my server setup with microsoft dns and I just had an issue where I need to delete a record but it will not delete from within solidcp.
OK, it’s not all the DNS records it’s just a DKIM record I added through SolidCP. I’m still on version 1.4.2
Hello,
What DNS Provider are you using?
If it’s MS DNS do you use the 2012+ provider? it should resolve the issue for you.
Regards,
Marco
Using MS DNS 2016.
Also it’s showing double entry of everything.
I assume when you set this enviroment up for me that’s the provider you used.
If it’s showing a double entry for everything it generally indicates an issue with the database.
Is this for all domains or just for some domains?
As far as which provider is used: both providers will actually work however the 2012+ provider got improved over the years while the original one stayed the same.
As of right know it looks like it’s only the domain I tried to delete the DKIM Text Record. It started showing double entries after that and did not delete the DKIM record.
Ok,
If you check the dns inside mmc do you still see the dkim record? (maybe inside some folder etc) can you manually delete it through mmc?
Yes there is no problem deleting through mmc.
But know any domain that I do a dns change through solidcp shows double entry of all records. I thought it was just one domain. As long as I do not change anything in the dns record of a domain there is only one entry.
This will be relatively difficult to solve without taking a look personally.
However in general this would most likely be an issue in the Domain database table or optionally dns template (more rare).
Would it be possible to purchase an hour paid support?
