Hi

After migrate from Websotepanel to SolidCP the folloing error is shown when a open a mailbox

Error reading mailbox general settings. See audit log for more details.

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.Exception: Error executing 'GET_MAILBOX_GENERAL' task on '' EXCHANGE ---> System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHeaderException: The signature or decryption was invalid ---> WSE523: The CipherData contents are invalid. at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters) at SolidCP.Providers.Exchange.ExchangeServer.GetMailboxGeneralSettings(String accountName) at SolidCP.EnterpriseServer.ExchangeServerController.GetMailboxGeneralSettings(Int32 itemId, Int32 accountId) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at SolidCP.EnterpriseServer.ExchangeServerController.GetMailboxGeneralSettings(Int32 itemId, Int32 accountId) at SolidCP.EnterpriseServer.esExchangeServer.GetMailboxGeneralSettings(Int32 itemId, Int32 accountId) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I've reviewed the migrating step and the only error that i0ve encontered during the migration was runing the sql query. I've looks in the forum and fond that was a error that i could ignore ( https://solidcp.com/forum/question/upgrade-from-wsp2-1-to-solidcp-1-0-1/)

Need help to resolve this issue....

I migrated to version 1.0.1....Should i upgrade to 1.0.3 now or after the error is corrected?

Best regards

Hello,

You can upgrade now or after.

The solution is a mismatch in either:

  1. Server password (it's located in the web.config of the Server module on each server --> make sure it matches the original WebsitePanel Server password)
  2. Machine key ---> In IIS Management --> hit the Websites of Websitepanel/SolidCP --> click machine key --> click generate --> click apply

Once those 2 match it should be fully working as normal.

Regards,

Marco
