I recive the below error when creating a website publishing account.
Could not grant access to Web Publishing feature for the account specified
Have you installed and configured Web Deployment 2.1 ? (it's different then web deploy 3.5)
Hi, i have the same error message

I have installed web deploy 3.5
But i installed it after i installed SolidCP
any solution idea?
As i tried to explain web publishing isn't the same as Web Deploy 3.x
Web Publishing is specifically called "Web deployment 2.1" this is required to be installed.
Please do make sure to only enable this feature for customers who know what they are doing.
By default Visual studio will overwrite default website permissions on publish which will break the site, the way to fix that is to set a setting in Visual Studio (client side), which means your customers must be aware on how to use Web Publishing correctly.
