My question is about Hosted Exchange.
I have created predifined DNS in the service.
But at the time of the client when creating a domain these dns are not created.
That could be happening?

the scheme is
Server 1 - SolidCP - SQL Server
Server 2 - ISS, DNS, FTP, WebSites
Server 3 - Exchange, DNS, Hosted Organizations

Server 2 and 3 with AD DS, Server 1 joined to the domain.
Server 2 Domain, and Server 3 replicates from Domain 2.

Hello,

SolidCP creates the service DNS records only when the service is created.

So for example if you got an hosted organization without any exchange accounts --> the DNS records aren't added yet.

If you have an exchange account added the DNS records should be created IF DNS management is enabled on the hosting plan.

Some small notes on your setup though: AD DC should never be used as a public dns (it's not possible to properly lock it down with no root hints, no recursive queries yet still have your servers lookup windows updates / google / whatever while using the AD DC dns services which they need for Active Directory).

Another record you might want to add is SRV  _autodiscover._tcp for autodiscovery services.

Regards,

Marco

thanks for answering
I give you an example, able to express me wrong.
server mail - exchange service

server Webhost - DNS Service

virtualserver - mail + webhost

serveradmin - hosting plan "ilimitado" - target server = mail + webhost

customer ihost - reseller

hosting plan ihost - hosting space "ilimitado"

Yes, Exchange DNS isn't added untill an actual exchange account is created.

So just go to mailboxes --> Create mailbox --> once completed recheck the DNS andit will have exchange dns's added.

FTP / Web work the same (but in your screenshots you can see you create a default FTP + web on space setup).

So just goahead and add an mailbox to that space.

Once done the DNS records will be added.

A slight note on your setup: Recoverable items should be set to an actual value of 6500 or higher (unlimited or 0 will cause issues when you switch mailbox plans in the future).
