From SolidCP a user is able to create a database on my SqlServer 2019. The user is also able to create a mssql user on the server, and connect the user and the database.
Everything here works just fine. But, the user is created with only read access. Is it in any way possible to change the permissions on a mssql user from SolidCP? I want to enable my customers to create their own databases and assign users to these databases. But at the moment I have to make the created users dbowner manually.
If you open the user properties in SolidCP you can select the databases it has access to, and/or select a default database.
To all these db’s it should be Database owner and allowed to read/write.
You can also set this via the Database properties and select the users you want to have access.
