Hi!

I've tried with Installing en uninstalling the MailEnable 7.x - 10.23 and rebooting the OS in every single install and before of that total clean of uninstall of mailenable in their diferent vesions, So, the issue is because there's no way that can create email accounts or add a domain on mail feature in the Solidcp portal. Before I was using the hmailserver, but just uninstalled for no currently new releases of versioning.

Any error shows when try creating a email account, just after type the name, choose the domain related and typing the password, there's any error on screen and shows any email account on list.

I also tried importing resources but whem I choose the mail and click the arrow to show their content doesn't shows anythig, for sure before I created a post office, domain and email account to try in that way, but not. Is like no connection between them.

When I get to the MailEnable program shows any error. Seems like a connection issue between Solicp and MailEnable.

hi

man make it easy  first just remove cureent version if it empty no ibox's in it and install  last  version from  MailEnable (Standard Edition) from  this url
http://www.mailenable.com/download.asp

now before setup check your iis . if found this two site delete it

now when start setup just two  thing import only

1- don't forget your mailenable password

2- when  ask  you to select web site  uncheck the check box and press next . the programe will  make this two site again but very clean

see that : uncheck configure web mail (2 times will ask  you . one for webmail and one for webAdmin )

part two  go to Solid panel -> configuration -> Servers  ->Mail  press  Add

next you will  find only one mailEnable Select  it and

after open page configration just in
Service Settings  >

Public IP Address:
Select IP Hear

Select  ip address and press update

it shoud now work  with you .

thank  you.

Editing :::

this is Dns Record for mail to work fine

don't change [DOMAIN_NAME] it's code . just change ip

Hi!

Thanks for the colaboration!

So, you mean that the website for the webmail will be added on IIS  instead of not selecting the option to add, and will work or not the webmail?

In the solidcp config doest'n ask for any password, if this will solve my issue what is the reason that doesn't work for me?

Thanks Hamada

Hi!

I just tried what you say, but no results adding new email account on Solidcp:

Ans this was the result:

I tried installed again the hMailserver and in the first setup of new email account was the same issue as MailEnable, but I tried again to set the password that is correct or not and now properly work the hmailserver normally.

Why mailenable doesn't ask for password on the  server feature in Solidcp as hMailserver?

Thanks!

For Mailenable no password is needed as it's not connecting via an api as far as i am aware.

Since you used to have hmailserver configured: are you trying to create the email accounts on a new hosting space? or an existing one?

as existing ones generally do not change their ServiceID's after creation, even tho the hosting plan / server has changed they retain the settings with what they where created. (only way to resolve such issue is by editing the serviceID to the new one in ServiceItems and PackageServices database tables).
