Hi,

We have a Windows 2008 server with a WebsitePanel 1.1.2 that we manually updated to version 2.0 for migration to SolidCP 1.4.6.

The problem is that we want to move it to a Windows Server 2019, before or after the SolidCP migration.

The major difference is the version of IIS used (7 to 10).

When moving, we move the C:/WebsitePanel directory and the SQL server database.

In the database, is changing the ProviderID in the "dbo.services" table enough to keep all the links of the Hosting spaces on IIS 10?

I don't know really how to start ...

Thanks for your help guys,

Max

Hello,

the providerID change in services is indeed enough to do so.

It should be adjusted after SolidCP has moved to the 2019 server, once the ProviderID has changed in the database made sure you load the SolidCP Portal --> Configuration --> Servers  --> (provider) settings, verify everything is set correct and press save.

Regards,

Marco
