Hi – I have installed MySQL 8 on a server. Under Configuration -> Servers I’ve added the ‘MySQL 8’. Everything looks good, i’ve given it the root login e.t.c.
However, when I go to create a Hosting plan, underneath MySQL 8 there’s nothing to pick from. Whereas on an older server with MySQL 5, you can choose how many databases are permitted under the plan, how many users, max db size and so on.
As such, it looks like the MySQL 8 integration isn’t working correctly for me. Any ideas?
The server I deployed it on was Windows 2016, so definitely not a Windows 2019 issue only. Interestingly enough, on the same server I uninstalled MySQL 8 and installed MySQL 5.7 and that worked without any other modifications being made to the server, so I’m guessing there is still some sort of bug within SolidCP relating to MySQL 8.
