What are the plans to incorporate .Net Core and PHP 7 into SolidCP.   What would be amazing is if we could add "unlimited" versions of each.

i.e.  By Default it list the standards and then a button that says Add New.  We can type what the version is and the path.

i.e.

ASP 2, 3, 4, .Net Core

PHP 5.4,  5.5,  5.6, 7.0

That way we control what can and cannot be used.

Hello,

PHP 7 works with SolidCP aslong as you install the PHP Manager.

(any php 5.x and up works with PHP Manager, SolidCP then uses php manager to detect it's defaults, it's versions, etc to apply to sites)

I don't think there's any plans for .net core yet (but that might be my lack of knowledge so i will raise this question during the next contributors meeting).

Code wise there are plans to move to the MVC framework on the long term (this will take 3 - 9 months + - ) which allows proper use of modules/plugins like most systems support.

Regards,

Marco

I'm afraid we did not (yet) discuss .net core due to lack of time in the first meeting.

I am fairly confident we can include it in v1.3.0 maybe even in v1.2.0 but it will need some further discussion i think (next meeting is in + - 3 weeks or so)
