Hi Marco,

we are migrating existing DNS to new Windows 2016 servers from Windows 2012.

We have created 2 new servers within SolidCP, edited the existing Virtual DNS server by removing the old DNS servers and adding the new ones.  We have also copied over all the existing zones and records, this works fine.

When we create a new hosting space for a customer, it works fine. However when editing an existing customers DNS zone within solidcp, it edits the old DNS servers, presumably we need to update something in the database for the existing customers to point to the new servers, do you know what entry/table we need to update?

thanks

Ian

Hello,

The most easy would of actually been updating the SolidCP Server connection to the new server.

Now you have moved it over to a new server with a different ServiceID the only way is updating the ServiceID in PackageServices and ServiceItems tables (out the top of my head).

Regards,

Marco
