I have added a service (Hosted Exchange); however, it does not appear in existing accounts as a server although it is listed in Quotas.  What is needed for new services to appear in existing accounts and plans?

Thanks.

Hello,

This very much depends on your original setup.

  • Where your existing customers already using Virtual Servers ?
  • If so you just add the Hosted Exchange + Hosted Organizations to it.
  • You then go to the existing hosting plan using the Virtual Server and enable the quota's for it.

Do note this will not work if:

  1. If you where previously using just a single server it will probably encounter issues.
  2. If you made custom changes in Space Statistics --> edit and gave it custom quota's it will not apply the new hosting plan changes.

Do note to always first test things out on a fresh new account with take domains, once it's confirmed working it's easy to re-implement on existing accounts if you meet the conditions.

Regards,

Marco

It was not clear from the written instructions that Hosted Organizations must be added to the virtual server.  After watching the video, it was apparent.

I have added Hosted Organizations to the virtual server and it appears.

I have another error associated with HO, but I will make a new post for it.

Thanks!
