Hi,
Since upgrading to 1.2.0 the new website listing and possibly other areas (adding, deleting websites) is showing a massive performance issue.
The problem is with a remote IIS7.5 server and the 16 CPUs max out and RAM use of (SolidCP Server Pool) app pool goes through the roof (5GB).
That happens just refreshing the Website list page if there is a few websites listed that are hosted on that remote server.
Any ideas what's causing this?
Hello,
The website list shouldn't have a spike like that for more then a second (when i check performance of my own --> load site list while monitoring cpu --> it spikes 90% for a second and then back to normal for a list with 10 sites)
Memory usage of the app pool is about 200 mb's.
Adding / deleting process has remained untouched but has in the past been reported to be slow for some people (our plan is to overhaul the wmi scripts and make IIS module powershell only to resolve it for everyone).
Do you have any errors in event viewer that it might get caught up in that triggers your cpu usage? (as i can only test it on Windows 2012 R2 or 2016).

Marco
Thanks for coming back to me.
Nothing is logged anywhere regarding it. I was made aware of site listings and viewing the details page of a site throwing 503 errors by a client, so investigated. I had to increase the CPU and RAM cap on the server app pool dramatically for it to stop crashing 503 and for the CP to work on sites on that server.
That particular server has a large metabase and a lot of sites on it. It has always been slow to view the Website details page in the CP but we basically put up with it.
However, since the changes showing the site status and app pool status in the new version the website list (if sites are on that server) is extremely slow and causing massive resource use. It wasn't doing that before 1.2.0
Hello,
In version 1.2.1 released a couple of days ago the website lists have been undone. this should resolve your issue 🙂
