Anybody have a solution to allow a client to start/stop a service on their own webserver?

The way I tried was to allow scheduled tasks, and "execute system command", net stop/start ServiceName.

When I put in the "server name" parameter when configuring the task - no matter what I put I get

Execution Log:

00:00:01
Server with the name 'XXX' was not found

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hello,

On their own webserver would only be possible via the system settings --> Servers --> Settings (button next to server) but that would require peer level access (so full control panel access as serveradmin).

Customers can stop/ start individual websites and app pools.

SolidCP also allows vm support (hyper-v / proxmox) with console (guacamole) to provide a higher level of control over the server

Regards,

Marco
