Hi,
I've recently replaced our external mail-filters with the eFa Project open source filter https://efa-project.org/.. I was using mail-cleaner but I felt it was a little clunky and did let in a lot of spam.. Was very reluctant to change as it had integration into SolidCP but so far I'm very impressed with the new filter possibly the best filter I've ever used.. Bold statement. In the future will SolidCP be looking to support multiple anti spam solutions? If there was a way to integrate eFa into SolidCP that would be fantastic as it stands domains need to be added in manually or with a wild card mapping which is a very manual/inefficient process.
Thanks!!
Hello,
We are expanding the filter options (for example v1.2.0 has a experimentational Spam Experts module).
I will check into the eFa project and look in to their api possibilities shortly.
If we are lucky we can use similar codes as mailcleaner to easily integrate eFa aswell.
Regards,
Marco
I really like EFA as well and prefer it over other spam filters, it really does a good job of putting spam aside. Could the core devs please consider this in the next release?
Thanks heaps.
Hello,
I did look into it a little bit, but i didn't see any info about any form of api.
The only api i could find was a 3rd party github project.
Can you confirm if the software has any api to use?

Marco
