Is there any timeframe for when ASPNET Core will be supported in solidCP?

Hello,

I'm afraid there's not yet a time frame on that (mainly due to many internal changes within management etc, we currently do not provide time frames on new features).

It is in our priority list, so hopefully we can make it for the next release or the release after.

Regards,

Marco

Looks like there isn't too much to do with this base on westwinds.....

  1. possible need to map a handler for this, but I am thinking this already installed with aspnet core at the global level
  2. most important an option in the extensions section that is set to NONE - no framework.  It would probably be best to call it ASPNET Core and just set to none that will cause less confusion for customers.

Once I get back from vacation, maybe I can assist in getting this done. But we would need to get this out to the masses shortly there after (of course after testing etc)

Hi Guys

I am just trying to install a ASPNET Core Application for the first time and cannot get it to run. I have installed the .Net Core SDK on the server but there is no option to select Core for the website application Net type. Has this been added in a new version of SolidCP?

Hello,

No such option has been added to SolidCP yet.

However please note it's optional to select no code in IIS Management (it works with application pool set aswell).
