I am having a hard time figuring out this issue. We had a database attached to a user/website but, someone renamed it on the server and the connection broke to do backups. So, I detached the database and tried going to import resources but it actually doesn't import the new database. The job completes instantly and shows a bunch of non related items. Is there anyway to simply re attach a database to a website? Another option I could do is recreate it and restore it from the current database on a different server but, there has to be a better way.

Import resources would normally be the way to get it "back" in.
Does your auditlog give any clues or information what it did or failed to do?
If not the only reason i would imagine is something stuck in database still preventing it from importing. (so manual removal of the record in the db would be nessecary to avoid a restore process to a new db).
