Hello There,

I just want to create pre-installed SolidCP standalone Windows Template.

Is it possible or not as while installing SolidCP i faced 2 Challenges

  1. Set MSSQL SA Password (Needed by SolidCP (Not working in windows authentication mode))
  2. Setting Up Serveradmin and Admin Password while installation of SolidCP

I want both the above password can set as similar as Windows Administrator Password...

Looking for the Best Solution for the same.

Hello,

  1. Do you mean mssql auth inside the portal it self for hosting mssql? or do you just mean the SolidCP setup? as the setup works fine with Windows auth aslong as the user your logged in with is allowed as sysadmin in mssql.
  2. Serveradmin password is configured during the setup aswell at the end of the Enterprise setup, Admin password i am not sure about as i normally only use the individual components not the stand-alone one. (Admin is specific to standalone).

Regards,

Marco

Yes I am trying to creating a SolidCP standalone Pre-Installed Template...

but while installing the same it doesn't go forward with windows auth in MSSQL (Enabling SA works).

and on 2nd stage How could i pass the same password as Windows Administrator to solidCP serveradmin / admin standalone Setup Page....

Well, i would say pre-installed template might be more usefull to use the powershell install method? http://installer.solidcp.com/Files/stable/Tools/SolidCP-Configuration-Tool.zip

You can then pass the administrator password via powershell comand which should make it more easy.
