Hello! I have SolidCP v1.3.0 deployed (upgrade from WSP) on 5 VMS - Portal, Enterprise Server and 3 DNS Servers (all 2012R2).

What is the best way to upgrade all to latest version?

I checked Auto Upgrade Script, but it says that "The script assumes that your SolidCP Portal Server is also
installed on the same server as your Enterprise Server"

Also, the third DNS server is deployed on different location

Hello,

up on normal the Auto upgrade script is best, the script does assume Portal is on the same server as the SolidCP Enterprise server (SolidCP Enterprise server is where you run the powershell script from), this is cause Enterprise / Servers have no record as to where the Portal Server is located. However incase your Portal is located on a different server then your SolidCP Enterprise server you can still run the automatic update script v1.6 (it will provide you with an error, but it will continue non the less updating enterprise and all servers).

You can then do a manual portal update downloading the portal-update.zip file and simply copy + paste all files over your existing portal files (do take a backup of existing portal just incase it might have some web.config or app_data changes).

In any doubt i can also recommend an hour of paid support so we can update it for you, and guide you through it so you know exactly how to do it your self on next update.

Regards,

Marco
