Hi

We have just completed a long overdue upgrade from WSP1.2.1 right up to SCP 1.0.3 and everything pretty much worked without any major problems. But we do have 2 issues which I am not sure if these are due to a bug or a mis-configuration on our part.

They are:

  1. When we try to add a new FTP account we click in the Home Folder box to select the home folder and it correctly displays the treeview which we can expand but we cannot select a folder, we click on a folder but it doesn’t do anything.
The same treeview dropdown does work on the File manager page however.
  2. When we look at a list of Domains in a Hosting Space we can not see which website the Domain might be pointing at, we can see the Mail Domain,  its just the Website part that isn’t working. We have set the Shared IP as per the version 2 upgrade instructions so not sure why this is not working properly.

If you have any ideas or can confirm a bug then that would be great.

Thank you for any assistance.

Regards
Mark Donne

Hello,

If your coming from 1.2.1 make sure you do the db update of 2.0 and then solidcp 1.0.3

  1. I noticed this issue sometimes it's actually clickable but very very difficult to find the right spot and comes with delay, i agree that should be resolved, do note that you can manually type in the path to make it work in the meantime.
  2. This feature actually dissapeared in websitepanel 2.0 or early 2.1, i'm not sure why it was removed or if it was just more easy to do with pointers and hostnames but it's simply no longer there for a long while.

Regards,

Marco

Hi Marco

Thanks for your response. Just to add to point 1 about the Treeview control, it works without any problems on the following pages

Websites
File Manager
Backup SQL Database
Scheduled Task Properties

It is just the FTP Accounts page where it does not work

For Point 2, is it possible to request this feature to be added back in as I don't know any other way to see which website a domain is pointing at apart from going into each website one by one. When a customer has more than 10 websites it can take ages!

Thanks
Mark Donne

1) Ok, thanks for additional info i will look into it and hopefully have a fix soon.
2) I understand (altho i personally didn't miss the feature the way you explain it i can understand it's a big miss) . I don't think i can schedule it in for next stable (as it already has alot of work scheduled) but i can add it to the list for the one after (so it will take a while but it will be fixed :))

This is also happening in our installation. Any other tree-view style text boxes work fine, its just the FTP one that is messed up. Mine is doing it right now...can't click any lower than one folder deep and the little icon in the upper right just whirls around and around but nothing is clickable or selectable. This is happening in both Chrome and IE, caches flushed, makes no difference.
