Hi all,
I have a problem with creating user accounts / hosting spaces. I tried moving the main database to another SQL server but failed, so all changes have been reverted back. Since this I get errors when creating hosting spaces and user accounts (Active directory accounts).
When I create a user I just get an error '-1' but eventviewer tells me:
[11/7/2019 11:47:14 PM] ERROR: HostedSolution
System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryServicesCOMException (0x8007202F): A constraint violation occurred.
The strange thing is that the AD user gets created but it doesn't show up in SolidCP webinterface.
Any ideas on what the issue could be?
Hello,
-1 generally indicates that the SAMAccount name or email address is already "taken".
In general more details to the error is usually found in the Eventlog of the server running the Hosted Organizations service.

Marco
Hi Marco,
Thanks for you response. The accountname was not in use as the account got created although it gave me the error code.
In was finally able to resolve this by running the installation over the existing installation without changing anything. After that I was able to create accounts again 🙂
Kind regards,
Eddy
