On a brand new installation (Win 2012 R2, Exchange 2016) when i run the installer with all the components it skipped the part asking me to create an Active Directory user. I am using SolidCP installer 1.1.1
Had to unistall the "Server" component and run it on its own to get the AD user creation screen appear (working now...)
Hi,
When you ran the installer, what option did you choose?
If you chose the Standalone version i don't think it is enabled for Active Directory as you normally have several servers when deploying Active Directory.
I have sent a message to the rest of the development team and will also report this as a possible bug to be looked at.
Once i hear back i will reply to this post with an answer.
Kind regards,
Marc
Hi,
The issue was logged as a possible bug,but after looking into it further it has come to light that this is not a bug and was designed like that intentially as the Standalone Installer option should not be used on Active Directory as it was intended to be used on a stand alone server (i.e. dedicated servers).
