Hey,

i installed SolidCP for Hosted-Exchange. Everything works fine.

But i got a few questions:

  1. If i delete a User/Mailbox, it does not appear under deleted Users. What is wrong?
  2. I am creating a new customer. The Customer should move from its own Mailserver to my Hosted-Exchange. Is there a way, i create his mailboxes etc and set this inactive for preparation? I will import his Mails from his own Mailserver first.  Because if i create this customer and send an E-Mail to him (from another Customer in Hosted-Exchange), the E-Mail will get to his new Mailbox in Hosted-Exchange, an not to his own Mailserver.

Sorry for my bad English.

Best regards from Germany

Hello,

  1. Deleted users has been a bugged feature since WebsitePanel days. I always advice people do not enable disabled users in the hosting plan to avoid any errors or bugs. (this feature is scheduled to be removed).
  2. You can disable the user, however i am not sure if this will avoid the issue your describing. In most cases user/domain creation should be done only from the time the user is planning to move. (much like any other mail server).

Regards,

Marco
