When we try to import a VM which is using a UNC path - we are getting the below error - any ideas?

(Importing VM's that are using local are importing fine)

Exception message: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> There was an error generating the XML document. ---> Instance validation error: '0' is not a valid value for SolidCP.Providers.Virtualization.VirtualHardDiskType.

I don't think that SolidCP HyperV can work correctly with UNC path.

If possible try to assign UNC as Windows disk letter. And update all the paths of the VM disks to the new path.

This was fixed by changing the solidcp application pool user to that of a AD user - rather then the solidcp local user.
