Hi,

So I am really unexperienced.

I successfully installed the solid CP.

I created an account and a domain.

But how do I configure the System, so I can access my Websites via Internet? And how can I set multiple domains on the server, because if I set the AAA record to the IP Adress of the server the server has to detect which page I want to use.

I really hoped for a real beginners guide here, but I didn't find any.

Hello,

There's not really a beginners guide other then how to setup in 5 minutes at the moment.

But luckely it's not really that complex.

Check over configuration --> system settings set the nessecary options there (such as smtp info).

For web services add Web Sites, FTP, DNS services to configuration --> servers

Go over each of those settings (maybe use an IP in system settings --> IP Addresses) and preconfigure some DNS records at the bottom of each service.

After thats all done create a Virtual Server to assign multiple Server services under 1 roof.

Then go to Serveradmin home --> bottom right "Policies" and "Mail templates" configure those as to your own likings.

Once done go to serveradmin --> Account menu --> Hosting plans.

Make sure you add a System space, web (and ftp / dns if you want).

Once done give it your first shot and create a user, create a hosting space and play around a bit 🙂

Regards,

Marco
