Hi,
When we try to delete a hosted organization user we receive the following error:
Input string was not in a correct format
Does somebody have this issue too?
We already did the following to investigate the problem:
- Moved the enterprise service and portal to a new 2016 server
- Installed a new server service on our second domain controller, changed the virtual server (delete the old domain controller) and moved the hosted organizations to the new server
- Changed the log level in web.config on the solidcp server to 4. In none of the log files (eventvwr application log and solidcp log) appears an error.
- Created a new customer with hosted organization. The same error appears when we try to delete a user.
When we try to delete a exchange mailbox everything is working correctly.
I hope somebody can help us with this issue.
Hello,
Input string was not in a correct format is an odd error, it almost gives the idea that one or more components do not match the same versioning. Did you verify: Portal, Enterprise, SQL Database, aswell as SolidCP Server(s) involved are 100% the same version? (in some cases portal / enterprise / server will require an iisreset as they can cache the old methods).
Other then that do you have any other information in the Event viewer --> Application log? if there's an issue in AD (such as deleted objects) it should show up there.
Regards,
Marco
Hi Marco,
Thnx for the reply. I did an iisreset on all servers. The same error appears. When i try to delete a user with another webbrowser Chrome or Firefox an access denied warning appear.
After i gave the solidcp user enterprise admin rights, i can remove users with Firefox and Chrome. Internet Explorer still shows this error, but thats not a big deal.
Thnx for your help.
Regards, Jeroen
Hey, I've the same error. I get the exact the same error message when I use internet explorer. With Chrome no problem...
Alright,
Well then you will need to double check event viewer for warnings and other error logs during the time of creation/ deletion.
The Access Denied error is Exchange Powershell virtual directory, common causes are Integrated auth not checked in the ECP Virtual Directory settings.
