I am trying to install on a new Windows 7 64Bit machine, but when I try installing the StandAlone package, it crashes at 26% complete. Error log shows no information as to the cause.
I tried creating the portals manually, but I can't seem to figure out how to get them working, there doesn't seem to be any documentation on how to manually use the ZIP files.
Help!!

Hello,
Manually install is indeed a bit tricky, but main thing to remember is that SolidCP is still a website with a database.
Though if stand alone fails for you, could you try to install just the portal component?
A small tip for requirements: Do make sure that portal requires asp.net 4.5
