Setup Wizard: This program can be installed on SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2014 only.
I spent almost an hour figuring out and at last I got this error.
Is there any work around for MS SQL Server 2016? Just released earlier this month.
I'm afraid not yet.
It is in our roadmap and will be added somewhere later this week, but till then you can't install it with MSSQL 2016 yet

I have just added support for Microsoft SQL 2016 in the 1.0.4 beta.
You can go to the beta through the installer by using the "Web.Service" value of the installer.config to: http://installer.solidcp.com/Services/InstallerService-Beta.asmx
Incase you normally use manual updates the package is available at:
http://installer.solidcp.com/Files/1.0.4/
Alternatively you can wait for the v1.1.0 stable release in the end of august.
