Dear All,

Onething i understand about WHMCS Module for SolidCP is i have to put the correct PlanID number at WHMCS Module, i simply can get the PlanID by click on any of hosting plan i have and see at browser url, my question is, what gonna happen if i have multiple SolidCP Servers with same plan name but different PlanID

Second thing is about Portal URL at WHMCS Module, what i have to fill in if i have multiple SolidCP servers? Currently i dont have plan to look on Virtual Servers concept.

Please advice. TQ so much

Hello,

Aslong as the plan ID is correct the plan name doesn't really matter.

For multiple SolidCP Servers: are they still in the same portal? or also completely different portal?

If their in the same portal the only thing you need to make sure is the plan ID being correct together with Parent space ID (thats either Serveradmin space 1 or Reseller space ID if your using a reseller).

The hosting plan can be configured with whatever server you have added which WHMCS will pick up on. (i would highly recommend Virtual Servers though, if not only that you can then easily add services to the hosting plan in the future).

Regards,

Marco

Sir,

The issue PlanID are different, let say the hosting plan A is number 1, but on different server the PlanID for the same hosting plan name is a different number, so any possiblities to modify the PlanID on running SolidCP server?

TQ

Hi halimzhz,

the WHMCS module wasn't designed and tested right now to work with multiple servers in a WHMCS server group. It's fully tested to work with one SolidCP portal and enterprise server and can also work with Virtual Servers in SolidCP, like Marco mentioned. In this case SolidCP is doing the job, which you want to be done by WHMCS with a server group.

Regarding the portal URL, I could fix that within the next days (until upcoming weekend), so if there is no different portal URL specified in a WHMCS product, then the enterprise server IP or hostname (if set) in the Servers settings can be used. But this fix would only work for multiple servers, if each enterprise server and the corresponding portal are on the same machine. The portal URL in the products is only affecting the "One-Click-Login" in the ClientArea and the Login-Link in the Admin area (in the product/service). There is no other functionality for the portal URL field.

But the bigger problem will be, as you've already figured out, the PlanID from SolidCP. We are discussing it right now, if it's could be done or not. As far as I know, there is no possibility to change the PlanID in SolidCP and keep the data integrity from the database. We will keep you updated.

Best regards

Bogdan

Yeah but then your talking about multi-portal  not multi server.

SolidCP is designed to run multi server under the same portal / Enterprise module

Each SolidCP Server can be hooked up to the same portal which is the design basically.

(you can then assign each added server to a specific hosting plan, or first a Virtual Server and then the Virtual Server to the hosting plan).

whmcs module is not designed to run different portal/enterprises but simply 1 portal / enterprise that connect to alot of different servers.
