Hi there.
The disk space report does not show the disk space of the MySQL and SQL databases, we have verified the installation and operation that it is correct, the MySQL installation folder and even the data folder with the 2 configurations works and We can create databases but there is no information about the disk space in the space reports, the same thing already happened to us in the previous Websitepanel and MSP panel, some solution.
Thanks
Hello,
Normally when there's an issue with diskspace reports it does not complete succesfully on the scheduled task.
Simple things to check:
1. make sure SolidCP Task scheduler is running, if it's stopped it is usually due to incorrect database or cipher key configuration in enterprise\bin\scheduler conifg file (it should match the Enterprise config for both database and cipher).
2. Make sure all SolidCP Servers inside the portal --> Configuration --> Servers respond (just click settings for each and make sure there's no connection error displayed).
Any server that does not connect can cause the scheduler to stop and stall rather then continue to other servers.
3. Last but not least is make sure the scheduled tasks --> space calculation has enough hours to run, depending on the side, amount of servers etc it can take quite a while to complete especially for first run. (so don't limit it to the default 1 hour if your on a larger environment).
Regards,
Marco
I have verified each of the tips step by step.
The databases are on the same Web space server, the calculation of the Web space is done correctly.
The task scheduler takes approximately 10 minutes to finish the task without giving any visible failure in the reports, all the servers are connected and perform all the jobs correctly.
We had this same problem with Websitepanel, mspcontrol and now with solidCP.
I do not know what else to do....
Hi @tonyd
We also have had long term problems with the Disk Space, and Bandwidth, calculations not working and there is no information in the Audit Log other than the number of packages it has to calculate.
It would be handy if there was a way to enable debugging that would report back to the Audit Trail on what it was about to do and then what it had done so that we knew where it was getting stuck.
We know there is a way to enable debugging locally and this logs to the local Event Viewer under SolidCP but this has not shed any light on where it is getting stuck.
We see a sequence of START... entries and then END... entries and for every START there is an END but it always stops in the same place and we have no idea where that is!
@m-tiggelaar, could the logging be improved to at least report this information back to the Audit Trail as when it is across multiple servers you have no idea where it got stuck or how far it got.
Thanks

Hi @m-tiggelaar and @tonyd
I have had some time today to look into our issue for the diskspace calculation and one thing I have noticed is that SolidCP is looking in the wrong place for the MySQL Database path.
In the SolidCP log entry it is logged as:
w3wp.exe Information: 0 : [9/15/2021 12:52:03 PM] START: Database path: C:\Program Files\MariaDB 5.5\data\xxxxxxxxx
However, all of our MySQL Data is located under D:\MySQL\Data so the correct path for the entry above would have been D:\MySQL\Data\xxxxxxxxx
Yes our MySQL installation is located at "C:\Program Files\MariaDB 5.5" and that is the path we have configured for the server so that it can find the executables but we have our data elsewhere.
We can see from the SolidCP log that the disk space calculation stops after 9 seconds every time and always the same spot.
Looking at one of the databases in the control panel there is no path for the data file which you can see here
So, @tonyd is your MySQL Data stored in a different location than your MySQL installation?
