I understand that "peer" is a user with same level of access of the current user. How to create a peer wit limited access to certain areas?

Hello,
It's currently not really possible.
There are some user roles pre-configured but from what i know many of them aren't properly functioning yet.

So, if I need a user to have access to the same hosting space as me, he will get full access?

Yes, as his a peer (equal to you).
If you want him to have limited access to his own resources a reseller user would be the way to go 🙂
