After I've reset the password for a customer, the system sometimes prompts them for a "Pin code" or "Verification code" that has been sent to their email address. But the system is sending the email from a bogus email address "support@HostingCompany.com" and so it gets rejected by many email providers including Gmail. The customer becomes very frustrated because they cannot receive the code and therefore cannot log in, and furthermore we don't receive any bounce notification.
This problem is specific to the Pin Code email message with subject line: "Verification code"
The string "HostingCompany" is nowhere to be found in my SolidCP database, and the regular password reminders are being correctly sent from my company email address, so I don't think this is a configuration error on my end.
Using SolidCP 1.4.9. Any ideas for correcting this bug? Thanks.
Did you set the correct email addresses (From) in the mail templates? (bottom right).
Oops, that was it. Most of them were set correctly, but not "User Verification Code Letter," thanks.
