I have managed to setup my servers fine - everything works - kind of.
My DNS servers are switched - I cannot for the life of me get my Primary DNS on my Primary DNS Server.
Primary records are being setup on my Secondary server and propogating to my Primary.
Both Servers are setup correctly with all the zone records - just can't get it to setup the way I want it.
I realise it probably doesn't matter which is which but is annoying - Am I missing something???

Which dns server software are you using?
Are for example you using MS DNS? (if so do you use the 2012+ provider or otherwise?).

Correct MS 2012R2
Correct MS 2012R2 DNS
The ms DNS 2012R2 provider in SolidCP really only has 2 areas which sets primary:
- The MS DNS providers setting inside SolidCP portal - Listening IP Address and Primary Name Server. Make sure Secondary name servers are added here correctly aswell.
- If you use Virtual servers (configuration - virtual servers) - DNS Section - ONLY add the server you want to be primary (Master) do not add additional secondaries.
Thats really all the settings that determin which server is primary (master).
