Hi,
We are hosting different domains on our Exchange Server 2016. Our SolidCP version is 1.4.0
For one of the domain when we create a mailbox through SolidCP the mailbox is creating without any errors.
Mailbox expected : user@specificdomain.com
But the email address is created with the default domain of the AD Forest instead.
Mailbox created : user@fdqn.local
The object is created in the right Organizational Unit with the right login. Only the proxy address attribute and the email attribute are wrong.
Login: user@specificdomain.com
This use to work smoothly for that domain. Other domain are not having the same issue.
My problem is that I can't find the parameter on the web console to fix that issue.
If anyone has a clue that would be great !
Hello,
Is the UPN also correct? and ExchangeAttribute1 ?
If so that would be kind of strange, almost wondering if it obtains an issue setting the mailbox domain correctly.
Maybe you can check the Exchange management logs for which commands are being executed during creation (and any errors / warnings it generates) for further information.
Regards,
Marco
Hi Marco,
Thanks for replying.
The UPN is set correctly.
About the "ExchangeAttribute1", do you refer to the attribute "extensionAttribute1" that you can find in the user properties ?
If it's the case, this attribute is not set after creating the mailbox. But I can see that is set for my other hosted domains' users.
The MXExchange CmdletLogs errors and warnings generated by SolidCP in order :
Set-Mailbox
Add-DistributionGroupMember
Warning Public Folder
Warning Group Member
Get-MailboxSearch
Get-MailboxStatistics
Except the first error, the others are also happening for the other hosted domains.
I still can't find any parameters that would have been changed.
If you have any other suggestion I'll be happy to hear them.
Regards,
Renaud
Sorry for my late reply (holiday times/ weeks after are always hectic).
Most of the warnings are normal (and can be ignored).
I do notice it can't find the public folder mailbox, do all your organizations have a correct public folder mailbox assigned? If not you can use the pffix to create and assign when it doesn't exist (if they do exist the pffix just errors and nothing changes for that organization/ mailbox).
PFFix can be pulled from here: http://installer.solidcp.com/Files/stable/Tools/PFFix.zip
Hi Marco,
Thanks for replying.
PFFIX do exist for my hosting domains.
I will update my SolidCP version has we are 3 or 4 versions behind.
If this can't help with the issue I might reach you later on.
Thanks
