Hi,

Thanks all for your suggestions. I got distracted with another project and just came back to this. I thought I would just try deleting the user again to remind myself what the error was and this time the user deleted fine. I didn't get an error and they have gone from ADUC and from SolidCP. I guess it was a cache or timing issue after moving from WSP to SolidCP but thanks for the advice and the prompt response!

James

Hello

I experienced the similar issue with activesync device assigned to user. I'm not able to delete user account when ActiveSync device child object exists under that account. After delete child object manualy using ADSI Edit, deleting user went successfuly. Is there any solution for this issue?

@Jacolex that should be resolved by adding "Enterprise Admins" to the member of group of the SolidCP Server application pool user.

Atleast for exchange 2013 / 2016 that seems to work out for us 🙂

Hello,

We are receiving exactly the same error.
We have a migrated environment from wsp.
It seems to happen with accounts that where created prior to the migration.
If we try to delete the user, including its mailbox, we receive the error.
If we try to delete the mailbox only, no error is received.
If we try to delete the user afterwards (user with no mailbox) we receive the error.

In our case the workarround seems to be:
1) Delete mailbox
2) Add mailbox again to existing user... solidcp created mailbox
3) Delete user with mailbox

Hope it helps in finding the root cause.

Thanks
