I have setup a schedule backup in SolidCP but when it run I just end up with an empty directory named something like "serveradmin_636327244346272479".     The only way I have been able to generate a backup is to go into configuration -> servers then click on settings and backup from there.

Could this have something to do with when I go into Account Menu -> Spaces the default space has no server?

Is there a way to do a scheduled server backup?  How solid are the backups this way?

Hello,

I would generally not recommend to use SolidCP to backup a full server.

It's more aimed to backup some websites/ sql db's for a single user (and even that isn't too great developed but it works).

For full server backups i generally recommend programs that are designed for this functionality, they often have incremental backup methods which save alot of space, aswell as a 5 day routine for example.

Regards,

Marco
