I recently setup a self-hosting Windows Server 2022.
I noticed that SolidCP would not accept to validate my hosting domain name.
The reason appears to be that it is longer than "valid" domain names.
I verified this because in the same server, and on a different server, I successfully installed SolidCP with a domain that ends with .com, but it refused my current domain that ends with .software
Is there a way to overcome/override this limitation?
I went ahead and supplied a different domain name (that ends with .com, but also hosted in the same server), with a hope that I could update the actual hosting domain after installation. However, now I can't log in to SolidCP, and also can't figure out how to change the actual hosting domain name in SolidCP.
Any advice on this?
Hello,
I haven't been able to re-produce this behaviour.
When you add the domain have you enabled/ checked anything for it to auto setup? (if so which modules are you using?)
As by default it should work fine in version 1.5.1
