Hello,

Seems my collegue forgot to inform / ask you:

We are working on a new theme in relation to jquery, fusecp, and so on.

This includes theme options (different color schemes / light / dark mode etc)

Which we plan to include RTL support aswell.

We did have one question tho: Should RTL be optional including language? or should RTL be set depending on language without the option to chose to disable it?

(Might be a silly question as i have no much idea about RTL languages, but i rather get this done right when we work on these features).

It should be included for the next release on the 24th.

Regards,

Marco

@m-tiggelaar

hello,

Great work and excellent news, as for RTL support, it must be with the language. The languages that are supported are Arabic, Persian and Urdu, for example when choosing Arabic, the pages are converted to RTL.

Thank you for your quick reply.

One more question: is it important to have the Text direction RTL or also for example a left sidebar has to go to the right side etc?

(second one will be a bit more difficult but not impossible)

Yes, it is correct, and most control panels switch the sidebar to the right side to display the language correctly

Thank you for the info.

I will do my best to have the sidebar RTL switch ready before 24th too but have to test this first.

RTL option it self (without sidebar) will for sure be possible before the 24th (already made it in my alpha test).

And thats indeed correct.

We are not sure why the localization toolkit misses some translation files, however with your permission we would like to add your translation to our source, to which any missing files can be added via the source project sln (existing work will be included / imported as-is).

Thank you. Of course, I am pleased and welcome to add files to the source files. On my part, I will provide the necessary support for the Arabic language and any further development.

@abdelmonem Glad to hear it!

Do note we always work with Github and have a gitter channel for contributors aswell (to raise quick questions / discuss some issues with development/ contributions and so on).

I will work on adding your translations to the source and the RTL and provide an update hopefully somewhere upcoming week.

Thank you for the support. The translation will be updated permanently if there are any additions in the future. I also plan to establish support in Arabic for the Middle East and North Africa.

Hello,

Just a quick update:
Due to unforseen circomstances i had to postpone the theme/ RTL features to next major release (1.5.0) scheduled July 24th.

It should however be available in the master repo (source) within the next 1-2 weeks.

I will then work on adding in Arabic as one of the default languages using your files and adding it to the SLN's.

the release scheduled on monday, will not contain RTL support just yet (but is for sure worth an update aswell ;-))

Regards,

Marco
