Hello

We have one server running SQL 2008 version 10.00.6241.

As needed to restore a copy created with a newer version, installed SQL 2008 version 10.50.4000, running on instance SQLEXPRESS2

I just added on solidcpanel under SQL Server 2008, now have previously installed SQL Server (running on sqlexpress) and SQL Server 2008 10.50.4000 (running on sqlexpress2)

But how can I add this option on a hosting plan? (would only wanted on a website in particular)

Have been searching and don't find a way to add this - added fine on my server settings, but not as an option to use on any hosting plan

Pls advise

Thank you

Antonio

Hello,

The easiest way is to create a virtual server and select the correct SQL Server you would want.

You can then select the Virtual Server in hosting plans to assign it to hosting plans.

If it needs to be added to an existing hosting space which already has a different SQL server listed it would not be possible without editing the database to adjust it's serviceID's.

Regards,

Marco
