So how is the server setup?
does your sql server have an SolidCP Server module installed there to?
or are you trying to load a sql through anothers servers SolidCP Server?
I had Websitepanel working fine on the remote MS SQL, deleted the Server folder and replaced it with a copy from the master server, updated the key etc. The bindings and IPs are fine, just it wont talk to it 🙁
The service http call loads fine from the remote master.
Server
Status:
Running
Version:
1.0.3
ASP.NET Mode:
32-bit
"Error getting remote server information " is not much help, how can I get a debug log from the remote server? Is there a log somewhere? "SolidCP Server’s Eventlog" does not appear on the remote servers Windows log..
Can you set it to 64bit mode?
other recommended aspects are asp.net 4.5 (unless it's a Exchange 2010 CAS)
Do note WebsitePanel depending on what version you used to run can be quite behind on code and setup
(the older it is the more tricky the migration gets, this is common for most software, this doesn't mean there's a big problem, it just means you need to go through things with a bit more effort to get everything running).
PS: In general i never really saw WebsitePanel or SolidCP run on a remote SQL without having a SolidCP Module installed on that server it self, if not only for security reasons.
I set it back to 64bit, still same error. It cant see the server in the service "Error getting remote server information " ye the soap APi page loads fine in browser from the same master remote 🙁
