0x1D hex decimal is an "=" symbol.
Does that provide any clues? (used in db / user / connection settings or passwords?)
It could be date/time though i never seen it express like this, try and set the user to us_english which should solve date/time issues
Sorry (getting late)
a 0x1D is a space " "
I believe its a bug with your build, seems to be language related. Gona have to revert back to Websitepanel to get a working system for my clients 🙁
Tried the database user in both English and UK English, neither made any difference, seems the issue is with
"Exception message: ‘ ’, hexadecimal value 0x1D, is an invalid character."
I personally have over 6 SQL Servers running on my live 1.0.3, and upgraded about 400 setups where 40% has SQL Services, i can therefor guarantee SQL + SolidCP 1.0.3 100% works, ofcourse i can't say what date/time or language you have, but i done setups on Dutch, German, British , American, Canadian, Australian, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, Israeli, and more.. I did came cross of a coalition issue sometimes which was solved by pushing the sql user lang to us_English.
Do note all of them do run a SolidCP Server on the SQL server it self and use it's internal + External urls to do it's bidding, (this is the design of DNP / WSP / SCP at this time).
Due to the hex decimal being a space i think it's pretty much lacking some configuration value which produces the space.
If you want to revert because of that thats ofcourse up to you, i'm always here if you need further help / information.
I can also offer you professional services for 75 eur (1 hour) where all earnings goes back into SolidCP (non-proffit foundation) where there's a no cure no pay guarantee.
can I set my own <password value=" and use only none special chars and try that?
I assume I update just the server web.config on each machine?
