Anytime a new website is created, its always selecting Asp.net 2.0 application pool.  I have selected 4.0 and updated the app pool names to coincide correctly but it always ends up being Asp.net 2.0

Hello,

The application pool set is what is selected and configured in your Web Policy.

You can find the policy section in the bottom right of the serveradmin home page.

Marco

Hi Marco, thanks for quick response.  Here's my server settings:

and when I create new website, theres no option for selecting an app pool, so a brand new site is created with Aspnet 2.0 app pool:

Your server settings aren't the default settings set on new websites.

Server settings are there to configure the options that can be provided by the hosting plan.

In return those options become available in the Website Properties.

However the default settings applied to newly created websites are configured in the Policies section as described earlier.

Serveradmin home page --> Bottom right --> "Policies" --> Web Policy

Oh I see.  I was missing that step when setting up the SolidCP installation.

Good to know!

Thanks man!
