Sounds a bit odd as i removed the validation.

also i really can't reproduce the issue.

i have attached an image of all the pointers i added just now with current code.

I use browser: Chrome (latest).

Dear,

I setup version SolidCP 1.1.2, I have add pointer other domain abc.com to site xyz.com success.

I login SolibCP -> Customers -> Domains -> Add domain -> enter domain abc.com -> uncheck Create Web Site -> Assign to existing Web Site  -> choose xyz.com => Click Add Domain -> Success.

I just want to be clear, do i need to add the domain first and then make a websitepointer or can i just add a pointer to a existent domain? (Do you have both testdomain16-18.com and testdomain101.com added like domains first?) before adding a website pointer?

And i can not put like you test1.sub1 i get In red: Enter valid hostname

I have tested both with firefox and chrome. I rebooted the server after update also.

What i tested so far is:
1) create a domain without resources (no website, no assignment, no mail, no dns)

2) then go to the Websites --> click on a website --> add website pointer

3) i can then add domain.com that i added in step1, or  test.domain.com (while test is never touched or created before).

I also did the same for subdomains etc. as in my example i created sub1 aswell.

Original site was created as testdomain16-08.com (which created the www.testdomain16-08.com )

Hi,

Im sorry if i have made everything confusing, im new to the logic of the system so...sorry again. Yee that way is working for me too. I tought i could just add a pointer without adding it to the domain. (This could be confusing for customers to so it should be some information about that)

Regards

Pelle
