We have a lot of customers running an on prem AD with AAD connect synced to Office365 tenants with Exchange online. These customers do not have on Prem Exchange environments and therefore the Proxyaddress attribute needs to be configured to be able to manage exchange online addresses / aliasses.
Currently SolidCP does not offer the possibility to configure these attributes without having onprem Exchange configured, is there a way to work around this requirement for having on prem Exchange?
I also noticed the roadmap mentioned management for Office365, is there any ETA on that?
Hello,
I don't think there's currently a way to work around this just yet.
We are currently working on reducing the massive bug list (and had loads of internal management changes in recent times). so we currently don't give ETA's on new features.
I can however say it's on our priority list for multiple reasons, so i do hope it will be part of our v2 or v2.1 release (the upcoming releases).
Regards,
Marco
Hi,
We are in the exact same position, and this is a feature that would have been very useful.
I've created a Powershell script that can run as a scheduled task on the domain controller to work around this issue.
It will write the existing ProxyAddresses to the info field in AD and can be edited through the Notes field in SolidCP.

As with all scripts you find on the internet, use it at your own discretion. No warranty bla bla bla, and I'm not responsible for your Active Directory turning to mush or damages caused by using this script. That being said, we use this with all our hosted organizations without issue.
