Currently i wouldn't use it. it's been an abandonned project since version 1.0.3.

It's scheduled to be fixed up (same as the installer update method)  in next v1.2.0 release (in januari).

In the mean time i would recommend to use the powershell automatic update:

Just make sure to give it executable rights, and to run it from the Enterprise server.

If it's a remote db server, make sure you manually make the sql backup (this still has some issues for remote sql's), everything else: just make sure you can access : ipc$

If you need to enter pass just save it, and do this for each SolidCP server, it will then be able to upgrade any time to the latest version using the same script (which will be integrated in Portal and installer in version 1.2.0)
