Trying to add Hosted Exchange 2019 fails with the following error:

The expected version of the software is not found on your server.

I have tried multiple solidcp servers with Exchange 2019 and Exchange 2019CU1, all return the same error.

Hosted Organizations can be made fine.

SCPServer users for each server are in the Enterprise Admins and Organizational Management group.

Anyone run into this error?

Hello,

Could you check the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftExchangeServerv15Setup for the following values:

MsiProductMajor

MsiProductMinor

Thanks,

Hi Trevor,

Exchange 2019 CU1:

Exchange 2019 RTM

EDIT: Changing MsiProductMinor to 1 from 2 allows me to successfully add the provider, is it safe to change the value back to 2 afterwards?

Hello,

Ok that's what i suspected. Please make sure to change the value back to 2 afterwords else you may face issues during exchange updates.

Thanks,

Trevor

Hello We are getting the same error and changing to 1 does not work. This is a brand new installation of Exchange 2019  on Windows Server 2022.

AdminDisplayVersion : Version 15.2 (Build 1118.7)

Any recommendations?
