Hello,
You just need to change the hosting space path in the provider as you mentioned before creating any hosting spaces with the server.
If you do change the location after the hosting space then it will continue to use the old location.

Hi Trevor,
Is there a way we can migrate the Hosting Space folder after the website is created? Where in the DB would we need to modify? Thanks.

Hello,
You can manually migrate it with all permissions using Robocopy. You will need to edit [dbo].[ServiceItems] in the SolidCP database to the correct path location (ItemTypeID = 2)

Thanks so much for the tip.
- Another question, I noticed in ServiceItemProperties there are references to DataPath and LogsPath as well that uses the old Hosting Space folder. I suppose we should change that as well?
- Can i also ask, there are some passwords stored in this table as well. I have a separate issue whereby I migrated some sites from an older server and I noticed that if I change some Web Site config, e.g. redirection to another URL, SolidCP will make changes to IIS and in most times change the Anonymous Authentication login details along with the Physical Path Credentials. I suspect it changes it to some old login details which no longer work. I am curious, where in the DB does it store such data?
Thanks heaps.

Hey,
- Sorry i didnt notice these when checking the database but i would change these all to match.
- Does it set this back to a old user or does it create a new one for the users?
Kind Regards,
