Hi

We have this problem, that when we change a peer (Administrator Account), nothing happen't, and the peer are still using the old password.
Also when we try to delete a peer, nothing happen't.

Is it a bug, or and locally error at our installation?

Regards Kenneth Dalbjerg

Hello,

I have tried to recreate this on our live SolidCP 1.1.0 and it was able to Add/Remove/Change password of a Administrator Peer account.

Which version are you running?

Kind Regards,

Hi Trevor,

I can tell you that I have the same issue.

I started on WSP, upgraded to 1.0.3, then to 1.1.0, then to 1.1.1.

I just created an account (mytestpeer), and immediately attempted to delete the account, it didn't work.  I know that password changed doesn't work, changing them to inactive doesn't work.

The account mytestpeer was created in 1.1.1.

There are no errors in the audit log.

Thanks!

Chris

Hello,

I tried reproducing this on both my upgraded environment from WSP aswell as my dev environments (pure SolidCP installed).

However if i login as serveradmin --> Account menu --> Peers --> Create Peer

create something with TestAdmin  // P@ss1001 , HTML Email (plain text email used to have some bugs some might still exist, though we should of fixed most of them)

I login with P@ss1001 no problem.

So next step is change the pass:

I log back out of TestAdmin --> back in as Serveradmin --> Account menu --> Peers --> click on the username TestAdmin --> Fill in 2 pass boxes (lets say we use Pa$s1001) --> and press the button "Change password" right below the pass fields (not the green update button)  --> it gives me a "password changed successfully"

--> I log back out as serveradmin, just for good mesure i close my browser and reopen it.

I can then login as TestAdmin with the pass Pa$s1001 without issues.

If anyone else have this problems, you need to login with the ServerAdmin account you created, when you install SolidCP/WebSitePanel.

Marco, it could be nice with a error messages saying this, when you try to delete another administrators account, from another account than ServerAdmin.
