I accidentally deleted the security group in the active directory that SolidCP creates when setting up a new hosting space for a customer.  Now when I select Groups under Hosted Organization I get this error - "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation."  I'm assuming it's because it can't find the group - so I tried to create it manually in the Active Directory but that didn't work.

Can I create the same Hosted Space over again to re-create the security group?  Or should I delete the Security Group with the database?

Hello,

You should be able to recreate the security group as long as it has the correct values. I would take extra care to ensure the attributes are correct (You can check them against another security group made by SolidCP).

Thanks,

Trevor

I've tried but I keep getting the same error.  Is there anyway to delete the security group from the database directly then just re-create them in SolidCP?

Thanks
