In the SQL table I see a field: CreationDate, ExpirationDate, RegistrarName.

In the web interface I see: "Expiratation Date".   However, I am unable to set or edit it.

I saw this topic:  http://www.websitepanel.net/global-forums/topic/expiration-date-in-domains/ withour a real answer.

Can someone explain the purpose of Expiration Date, how to fill it (automatically) or how to hide/disable this whole feature?

Hello,

It's an odd feature introduced in one of the last changes in WebsitePanel.

You can get it to check experation dates using the scheduled task on serveradmin.

So go to Serveradmin --> scheduled tasks --> Add scheduled task --> Check domain Experation date

this should lookup most domains for you (seems for me it only did .com .net domains, i just enabled lookup non-existent which might remedy that but have to wait untill cron finished).

It's currently not possible to disable this feature.

Regards,

Marco

No problem, due to my work i am kind of used giving fast answers as people generally can't afford to wait long when servers etc are down 🙂

@m-heydariraybod-ge Its not possible for it to be set. When the task is ran with the type: "Check Domain expiration date" is ran it is then updated.
